Megan and I will likely fly into Cusco on 10/8 and plan to take a local guided tour on Friday and a take a cooking class on Saturday. If anyone else is interested, I'm happy to share details.
Questions for the group:
I'm just getting to travel and looking at booking through the LATAM site. I think Ann did this. Seems so much cheaper than booking through US travel sites like Delta. Did any of you book direct through LATAM?
Are you reading about yoga, the Sacred Valley, about Machu Picchu? I am going to order a copy of Yamas and Niyamas (Mary shares passages regularly) and curious if others have favorites.

My flight was booked through Chase Travel and I used points exclusively for it. Ended up being about $850 when I take into account the point value. I fly in the 6th and I'll be flying back the 22nd. I'm interested in getting involved in the tour and cooking class. Sounds fun. I haven't been reading about the sacred valley or machu picchu yet but am definitely interested in learning more. The last Yoga book I read was actually Yamas and Niyamas. Another similar book I recently read was The Overthinkers Guide To Making Decisions by Joseph Nguyen. I really liked this one and think it's definitely relevant to the yogic journey of calming the mind and being awake.
